Dubai Private Schools to Maintain Current Fees for 2026-27 Academic Year

Fri, May 22, 2026(45d ago)UAE

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai has officially announced that private school fees will remain unchanged for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year. This decision serves as a significant relief for families across the emirate, ensuring financial stability while prioritizing the continuity of education. The move is part of a broader effort supported by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, to alleviate the financial burden on residents and businesses as part of a larger Dh1.5 billion economic stimulus package.

To support the education sector during this period, the government has introduced several relief measures for private schools and early childhood centers. These initiatives include the deferment of license renewal fees and the postponement of various penalties for private educational institutions. Furthermore, early childhood centers are set to receive additional support, including exemptions from municipal market fees and various administrative fines. By implementing these 33 strategic initiatives over the coming months, Dubai aims to foster a sustainable environment that balances institutional operational needs with the welfare of the community.
