Despite the volatile environment, the airport maintained operational continuity, with Griffiths highlighting the most significant achievement being that there were zero fatalities. He noted that the limited number of injuries were largely minor incidents resulting from the initial urgency to reach shelter, and confirmed that all affected individuals have since made a full recovery.

The CEO credited the UAE’s robust air defense systems and clear governmental communication for maintaining a sense of safety for both passengers and staff throughout the crisis. Following the disruption, passenger traffic has seen an impressive resurgence, climbing from a low of 2.5 million in March to 6.3 million by July. With the airport handling 31.5 million guests in the first half of the year, Griffiths remains optimistic about the future, describing the recovery as a "trampoline bounce" that positions the hub to reclaim its trajectory toward the milestone of 100 million annual passengers.
