GDRFA Dubai Highlights Innovative Travel Services at Arabian Travel Market
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai is taking center stage at the 2026 Arabian Travel Market at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The authority is presenting a suite of high-tech solutions aimed at streamlining the passenger experience, most notably the "Red Carpet" service, which leverages advanced biometrics to bypass traditional document checks. Complementing this is the "Click and Travel" initiative, an agile, mobile-based system that allows officers to process travelers quickly during peak hours, ensuring that airport efficiency remains high even during heavy traffic.
Beyond operational technology, GDRFA is also promoting flexible visa options, such as the five-year multiple-entry tourist permit and the 60-day entry visa, designed to make visiting the UAE easier than ever. To add further value to the visitor journey, the authority is highlighting its ALSAADA card, which unlocks exclusive discounts across various sectors in Dubai. Major General Talal Ahmed Al Shanqaiti emphasized that these initiatives reflect Dubaiâs dedication to providing a safe, seamless, and world-class travel experience, reinforcing the city's status as a top-tier destination for global tourism and business.
