Dubai Gold Prices Stabilize Following Significant Weekly Drop
Gold prices in Dubai have shown a modest uptick at the start of the week, though the metal continues to hover well below the Dh500 mark for the second consecutive week. As of Monday morning, 24K gold was trading at Dh470.5 per gram, recovering slightly from the Dh467 level seen over the weekend. Other popular varieties, including 22K, 21K, 18K, and 14K, also experienced minor gains, while international spot gold prices rose by 0.43 percent to reach $3,902.14 per ounce.
This downward shift in pricing has sparked a surge of interest among UAE residents, particularly within the Indian expatriate community as they prepare for Diwali celebrations. While some investors are viewing the current dip as an ideal buying opportunity, others remain cautious, waiting to see if market trends will trigger a recovery. According to recent data from Capital.com, the UAE remains a dominant force in the global gold market, accounting for a massive 54 percent of trading activity highlighted in their report, proving that the nation's appetite for the precious metal remains stronger than ever.
