Rising Temperatures Expected Across the UAE

Fri, Jul 3, 2026(45d ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted a mostly fair day for the UAE this Friday, July 3, though residents should prepare for a noticeable uptick in temperatures. While the skies will remain clear for the most part, some low-lying clouds are anticipated to drift over the eastern coastline. Winds will remain relatively calm, blowing from the northwest before shifting to a southeasterly direction, with speeds staying within a light to moderate range of 10 to 30 kmph.

As the day progresses, the heat will intensify, particularly across the country's internal regions where the mercury could climb as high as 49ºC. Major urban hubs will also feel the warmth; Dubai and Sharjah are both expected to see highs around 41ºC, while Abu Dhabi will reach up to 42ºC. Throughout this period, conditions at sea are predicted to stay relatively calm, with only slight swells expected in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
