UAE experiences temperature dip amid peak summer season
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted a shift in UAE weather, noting a general decrease in temperatures across western regions. While skies will remain mostly fair throughout the day, residents should prepare for dusty conditions as light to moderate winds, blowing from the southwest to the northwest, are expected to pick up speed. By nightfall and into Wednesday morning, humidity levels will climb in coastal and internal areas, bringing a likely chance of mist formation.
This shift coincides with "Jamrat Al Qayth," the UAE's hottest and driest annual period, which spans from early July to August 10. Despite this traditionally intense summer peak, the country has recently seen some surprising relief, with scattered rainfall providing a brief reprieve for residents last Friday. As temperatures in major hubs like Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah hover around the 41°C mark, those heading to the coast should remain aware that sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf may become rough at times.
