Rising Temperatures in the UAE: What to Expect Tomorrow

Tue, May 19, 2026(49d ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted a rise in temperatures across the UAE for May 20, 2026. Residents should prepare for warmer conditions, with nationwide temperatures expected to fluctuate between 19°C and 43°C. Specifically, Dubai is looking at a high of 41°C, while Abu Dhabi will see the mercury climb to around 40°C. These figures follow a notably hot Tuesday, where Al Gheweifat hit a peak of 43.6°C. Despite the heat, the skies are expected to remain fair throughout the day.

Along with the climbing heat, the NCM has advised that winds will be light to moderate, originating from the southwesterly and northwesterly directions. Gusts may reach up to 40 kmph at times, potentially causing blowing dust across open areas. Marine conditions will also shift as the day progresses; while the seas will start off slight to moderate, they are projected to become rough by the afternoon in the Arabian Gulf and by the evening in the Sea of Oman.
