Pakistan Missions in UAE Set for Eid Al Adha Closure

Sat, May 23, 2026(45d ago)UAE

The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai have officially announced that they will be closed in observance of the upcoming Eid Al Adha holidays. According to the missions, operations are set to remain suspended from May 26 through May 29, 2026, with regular services scheduled to resume on June 1. This schedule aligns with the broader holiday announcements across the UAE, where public sector employees are enjoying an extended break, while those in the private sector will observe a four-day paid holiday.

Beyond the office closures, residents across various emirates can expect changes to traffic and parking regulations during the festivities. Dubai’s RTA has confirmed that public parking will be free from May 25 to May 29, excluding multi-level parking structures. Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi authorities have granted free access to Darb tolls and public parking with specific exceptions, and Sharjah has declared free parking for the first three days of the holiday, though blue-signboard zones will remain subject to standard fees.
