Sharjah’s Youth Drive Dh4.3 Billion Real Estate Boom
The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department recently announced that Emirati youth have become a formidable force in the emirate’s property market, investing a total of Dh4.3 billion by August 2026. This significant financial commitment involves over 5,300 young investors aged 18 to 35, who collectively traded more than 7,000 properties. These figures underscore a growing trend of financial maturity among the younger generation, reflecting their deep confidence in Sharjah’s stable legislative framework and its long-term economic vision.
Released in honor of International Youth Day, the report highlights a healthy and balanced participation rate across both genders, with males accounting for roughly 60% of the investment pool and females contributing the remaining 40%. Saud Al Khayyal, chairman of the Youth Council at the department, emphasized that these numbers represent more than just real estate deals; they signify a cultural shift toward sustainable asset building. As these young investors continue to play a strategic role in the market, they are proving to be essential partners in driving Sharjah’s ongoing urban and economic development.
