UAE Weather Forecast: Dusty Conditions and High Temperatures Expected

Thu, Jun 4, 2026(45d ago)UAE

The UAE is set for a mix of fair skies and dusty conditions this Thursday, June 4, according to the latest update from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Residents can expect temperatures to climb significantly, reaching a peak of 40ºC in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. While the daytime high across the country is forecasted to hit 47ºC, nighttime lows will settle around the high 20s. This follows a particularly sweltering Wednesday, where inland areas like Al Dhafra and Al Ain recorded highs of 48.4ºC.

Drivers and commuters should exercise caution, as shifting winds blowing at speeds up to 45 kmph are likely to stir up sand and dust, particularly in western regions, leading to reduced horizontal visibility. Marine conditions are also expected to be turbulent, with the Arabian Gulf turning rough by late night, while the Oman Sea remains relatively calm. Meanwhile, meteorologists are warning that the upcoming summer season may bring higher temperatures than in recent years, though the exact intensity will fluctuate depending on regional weather patterns.
