UAE Weather Update: Temperatures to Climb to 40°C Amid Partly Cloudy Skies

Mon, May 25, 2026(45d ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted fair to partly cloudy conditions for the UAE on Tuesday, May 26. Residents can expect light to moderate breezes shifting from southwesterly to northwesterly, while humidity is set to increase during the night and into Wednesday morning across coastal regions. Both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to remain relatively calm, with slight sea conditions throughout the day.

As the summer heat intensifies, temperatures are projected to reach highs of 40°C in Abu Dhabi, 38°C in Dubai, and 39°C in Sharjah. Nighttime lows will offer some relief, dipping to 28°C in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and dropping further to 25°C in Sharjah. With the upcoming Eid Al Adha holidays approaching, the NCM has issued a timely reminder for the public to practice caution and limit direct sun exposure as the country experiences a steady rise in temperatures.
