IHC Profits Soar 87% Amid Global Expansion
Abu Dhabi’s International Holding Company (IHC) has delivered a stellar performance for the first nine months of 2026, reporting a massive 87 percent jump in profit after tax to Dh32.3 billion. Driven by a 33.2 percent rise in total revenue to Dh100.3 billion, the company’s success has been fueled by a strategic push into high-growth sectors like artificial intelligence, space technology, and energy. With significant investments in industry giants such as SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic, IHC is successfully diversifying its portfolio and cementing its footprint across international markets.
The group’s growth was particularly notable in the energy and mining sectors, where revenues skyrocketed nearly 300 percent, alongside strong contributions from real estate and construction. CEO Syed Basar Shueb credited this resilience to the company’s disciplined approach to capital deployment and its ability to build “Dynamic Value Networks” across various global industries. As the company bolsters its balance sheet with total assets reaching Dh485.5 billion, it continues to reward shareholders through initiatives like its latest share-buyback program, signaling strong confidence in its long-term trajectory and operational scale.
