A brand-new national low-cost carrier, launched by a consortium featuring Air Arabia Group, Nesma Group, and Kun Holding, has officially commenced operations out of King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. The airline is hitting the ground running by offering five daily domestic flights, connecting Dammam to Riyadh and Jeddah with two daily trips each, along with a daily service to Madinah. This debut represents a major step forward for the kingdom’s aviation landscape, aiming to bolster affordable, reliable travel options for those living in the Eastern Province.

Following the successful receipt of its Air Operator Certificate, the airline is utilizing a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft, each configured with 174 seats to maintain a cost-effective, value-driven service model. Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, highlighted that this launch is just the beginning of a broader strategy to expand the carrier’s network. With the full backing of Dammam Airports, the airline plans to progressively add more destinations, playing a vital role in supporting Saudi Arabia’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy to increase air traffic and connectivity throughout the region.
