Dana Gas Sees 48% Profit Surge in First Nine Months of 2026
Dana Gas has delivered a robust financial performance for the first nine months of 2026, with net profits climbing 48% to Dh558 million. This significant jump, up from Dh379 million in the same period last year, was primarily fueled by increased hydrocarbon production and favorable market prices. Revenue also saw a strong upward trend, rising 48% to Dh1.38 billion, while EBITDA surged by 61% to reach Dh917 million. CEO Richard Hall attributed this success to the companyâs strategic focus on boosting production and maintaining fiscal discipline to drive long-term value for shareholders.
The companyâs operational growth was underpinned by strong results in its core markets. Group production averaged 55,800 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) during the nine-month window, highlighted by a notable 17% increase in the third quarter alone. In the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, the expanded Khor Mor facilities played a pivotal role in lifting output, while the companyâs Egyptian operations benefited from a successful drilling campaign that added significant gas resources. With healthy cash collections and a recent $500 million bond issuance to support future field investments, Dana Gas remains well-positioned to sustain its momentum through the coming year.
