Electric Abra Services Return to Al Mamzar Waterfront

Wed, Jul 8, 2026(2h ago)UAE

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially announced the return of electric abra services at the Al Mamzar station following a brief suspension. This restart comes as a direct result of the successful completion of recent infrastructure and development projects in the area. Now fully operational, the service invites both residents and tourists to experience the coastal beauty of Al Mamzar from a unique perspective on the water.

Travelers looking for a private and scenic outing can book an entire abra for their group, with a maximum capacity of eight passengers. Pricing is set at Dh60 for a 30-minute excursion and Dh120 for a full hour, providing an affordable way to take in the skyline and sea views. Beyond Al Mamzar, the RTA continues to operate popular abra routes across the city, including sightseeing tours at the Dubai Mall, Global Village, and the Jumeirah-Godolphin route, each offering distinct operating hours and ticket rates to suit different visitor needs.
